Unphone

Privacy

Last updated October 31, 2026

Unphone is built to keep your phone quiet, and that includes your data. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers of its own. Here is everything it touches.

In the app

WhatWhyWhere it goes
ContactsTo show your contacts as a list in PhoneRead on your iPhone only
RemindersTo show and edit your lists in ListsRead and saved through Apple's Reminders, which syncs with your iCloud as usual
Location, while using DirectionsTo find places near you and plan routesSent to Apple Maps services for search and routes, as any Maps request is. Not stored by us

Each permission is optional. Say no and that one tool shows a short note instead; everything else keeps working.
